Xotic AI Review: Companion Memory, Privacy and Real Cost

The official guide describes both pre-made fictional characters and a creator for building your own. A custom character can combine visual traits, personality, a relationship premise and an opening scenario. That is useful if you know whether you want a warm companion, playful banter or story-led roleplay. It is less useful when a long list of traits gives the model contradictory instructions.

Start with an adult fictional identity, two personality anchors and one shared context. Leave room for the conversation to reveal whether those choices matter. Appearance settings prove that a control exists; they do not prove that every image, reply or video will preserve it. We did not generate outputs, so identity consistency and personality strength remain open questions.

The free plan allows one custom character. That is enough to inspect the setup flow and compare a created profile with the public catalogue before paying for unlimited characters.

Xotic's Plans Overview currently gives free users five messages per day with the free model. Ultimate advertises unlimited messages and access to all models. The distinction is clear on quantity, but model access does not establish warmth, initiative, pacing or respect for the user's side of a scene.

Use the free allowance to ask for a specific response length, mention one harmless preference and correct one detail. The next session should show whether the companion follows the requested style. Five messages will not reveal repetition after a long exchange or continuity across days, so do not treat a promising greeting as proof of a dependable relationship.

Standard subscription chat and the Girlfriend Experience are separate products inside the same account. Unlimited ordinary messages do not mean every relationship-oriented message is free of XOT charges.

The Girlfriend Experience guide says the companion has moods, remembers what matters and develops a relationship over time. Chat history is also part of the account experience. Those are meaningful design promises, yet the public documentation does not publish a context-window size, retention benchmark or guaranteed list of facts that will survive indefinitely.

Memory should be checked in layers. Put stable background details in the character profile when a permanent field exists. Mention a new harmless fact in conversation, change the subject, then revisit it later. On another day, distinguish a fact recovered from saved chat history from one the model actively uses in a relevant reply.

A growing relationship label can be engaging, but it is not the same as measured recall. We leave memory performance unscored because no multi-session account test was performed.

Xotic documents a dedicated Girlfriend Experience with moods, relationship levels, gifts, profile content and proactive relationship mechanics. It costs 10 XOT per message. That means someone seeking a sustained companion dynamic should budget differently from a user who stays in standard Ultimate chat.

The monthly 1,000-XOT allowance would cover 100 Girlfriend Experience messages if nothing else consumed the balance. Mixing those messages with images, video or calls reduces that total. A relationship feature may feel inexpensive one message at a time while still becoming the main monthly cost during daily use.

Before committing, decide whether the Girlfriend Experience is central or optional. If standard chat already provides the tone you want, paying XOT on every relationship message may add little value. If moods and progression are the main appeal, track the first week's usage instead of assuming the included allowance will last.

The official XOT list prices image generation at 50 XOT per image. Video starts at 150 XOT, while some models charge by duration and can reach 100 XOT per second. Voice calls cost 50 XOT per minute and video calls cost 250 XOT per minute. The interface is supposed to show the charge before confirmation.

At those published rates, 1,000 XOT buys 20 images, twenty voice-call minutes or four video-call minutes when used for only one feature. It also buys six minimum-cost videos with 100 XOT left. These are budget illustrations, not output-quality claims. Retries matter because an unwanted image or unstable clip still consumes the action charge unless the live interface states otherwise.

Test visual continuity with a simple portrait before changing pose, clothing and location together. For calls, begin with a short session and listen for delay, interruption handling and repeated phrases. We did not inspect generated media or call quality.

Each Ultimate billing period includes 1,000 XOT delivered upfront, according to the Plans Overview. The subscription opens the platform; XOT buys metered actions. Keeping those two layers separate is the only reliable way to estimate value.

A text-focused user can stay mostly within unlimited standard messaging. An image user has a visible twenty-image baseline from the included balance. A video-first user can spend the same allowance much faster, particularly with a per-second model. A companion user who divides the balance between Girlfriend Experience messages and calls needs a small weekly cap to avoid an early top-up.

Do not compare XOT numerically with a rival's coins. A thousand units means nothing without action prices. Xotic is unusually useful here because its official guide publishes those rates; the unanswered question is whether the outputs are good enough to justify repeating them.

Xotic's privacy and safety guide says conversations, custom characters and generated content are private by default unless the user publishes them. That controls public visibility. It does not convert the product into an end-to-end private messenger.

The privacy policy describes processing account details, prompts, conversations, generated content, device data and payment-related information. It also allows sharing with third-party providers used for hosting, payments, analytics, support, marketing and model infrastructure. The terms permit review or intervention for moderation, enforcement and legal duties. Data may be retained as long as necessary for service, security, disputes and applicable law.

Use fictional names and locations where possible. Keep financial information, health records, employer details and another person's private data out of prompts. Deleting a visible conversation and completing every backend retention obligation are not necessarily the same event.

Xotic documents monthly, quarterly and yearly Ultimate options, automatic renewal and 1,000 XOT per billing period. The public guide sends users to the Plans page for the current local price rather than publishing one stable dollar table. During our check, no dependable unauthenticated amount was exposed.
